Who are we and what are we all about?

We met 12 years ago & we've been married for 11 years now. Both of us have grown up with camping and fishing as a way of life . 

Matt was born in Zimbabwe and grew up fishing around his home town and also Zambia and Mozambique.

 Lucy grew up camping and fishing on the river banks of the Darling River NSW. 

We started four wheel driving and freelance travel writing for 4wd Magazines 8 years ago. 

With these common interests we've come together and created Eatin' on the Road, a Blog for those wanting to know more about where to start when it comes to Touring & Camping, Camping with Dogs, plus to give you the heads up on great locations and lesser known hideaways that we find along the way.
